Hrachya Yessayan

Hrachya Yessayan was born 1988 in Moscow. Yessayan attempted to compose music from an early age on. His musical talent was greatly influenced by his family. Hrachya’s grandfather is a recognized Armenian folk musician, and his mother is an excellent singer and piano player. In 2003 he graduated the music school with honors as a violinist, and in 2007 the Gnessin State Musical College as a viola player, also with honors. In 2013 he graduated Moscow Conservatory as a composer, then he made his postgraduate education at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow and finished it in 2015. His compositions include works for chamber instrumental ensembles, for symphony orchestra, choirs, psalms and compositions for piano. They are performed in Russia and other countries. Yessayan is a highly experienced performer. He plays solo programs and performs with various ensembles and orchestras. In 2006-2007 Yessayan joined the Interregional Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Academy in Ochsenhausen and played in Baden-Württemberg, in May 2007 the orchestra performed in Shanghai. Since 2009, the young composer conducts the chamber orchestra "Grosso". This chamber orchestra performs at music schools, halls and conservatories in Moscow and other cities. Since 2014 he is a member of the Union of Moscow composers.
